In order to beat the triple-digit heat, on Sunday, September 5th, we went on a much needed beach ride. We travelled into Palos Verdes, went along the PV country club, up and over Hawthorne Blvd. (where we caught some killer views of Catalina Island), then made our way to Redondo Beach, via the cliffs and winding roads of PV Drive West. It was a lot cooler by the beach, but the relief was short-lived as we had to cut back into the itnerior to get back to the PV Bowl for the contests and scooter raffle.
